Our mission is to empower participants to grapple with the most important challenges of our time.
We believe young people can have a huge positive impact with their lives — but we know that thinking through how to make a difference can be a difficult problem.
Our workshops aim to equip participants with the tools to help them on their journey towards positive impact. Our goal is to inform participants about what we believe to be the key global challenges of today: AI safety and biosecurity.
The Global Challenges Project was started in 2021, and was founded by Emma Abele, James Aung, and Henry Sleight.
As of 2026, the Global Challenges Project is run by Kairos and we now run regular workshops for participants around the world.
